Principle: no cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or tracking services and loads no content from third-party servers. The typeface it uses is hosted locally on our own server rather than obtained from an external provider. No user profiling takes place, and a consent prompt (“cookie banner”) is therefore not required.

Server log files

When this website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically stores data in what are known as server log files, which your browser transmits for technical reasons:

  • the page requested, and the date and time of the request
  • the volume of data transferred and confirmation of a successful request
  • browser type and version, and the operating system used
  • the referrer URL and the IP address of the requesting computer

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless operation and the security of our website. This data is not combined with other data sources.

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. The provider processes the server log files described above solely on our behalf; we have concluded a data processing agreement with it under Article 28 GDPR. The web server is located in a data centre within the European Union. Hostinger in turn uses sub-processors; transfers outside the European Economic Area are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Our contracting party is Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your sender address and the information you provide solely in order to handle your enquiry and to deal with any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

We deliberately do not operate a contact form — no data is therefore transmitted to us through this website.

Retention period

We store personal data only for as long as the respective purpose requires. Enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply — in particular the seven-year retention period under section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (Bundesabgabenordnung).

Recipients of your data

Data is passed on to third parties only where this is necessary to handle a contract or an enquiry, or where we are legally obliged to do so. Technical service providers — in particular our hosting provider — are bound by contract as processors under Article 28 GDPR. No transfer to third countries outside the European Union takes place.

Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to us:

  • access to the data processed about you (Article 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
  • objection to processing (Article 21 GDPR)
